San-J Tamari is not your typical soy sauce. We make our sauce with 100% soy and no wheat, fermenting soybeans for up to six months before pressing. During the fermentation process, soy protein is broken into complex amino acids that give San-J Tamari hundreds of distinct flavor components. San-J Tamari contains 18 amino acids, including all nine essential amino acids. We use our Tamari in a variety of products including our Asian Cooking Sauces and Brown Rice Crackers.
We invite you to try our carefully crafted sauces and crackers.
These crackers get their rich, nutty flavor from black sesame seeds and San-J Tamari Soy Sauce. Baked, not fried, they are great with dips and spreads, or simply on their own. Find them in a new, stay-fresh package!
All of San-J Brown Rice Crackers are certified gluten free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization, and are now certified vegan by Vegan Action and Non-GMO Project verified.
The balanced ingredients in San-J Thai Peanut Sauce create a slightly spicy, nutty, sweet and altogether rich taste. It’s much more than a marinade. Mix it into a stir fry. Give your bowl of greens a little kick and discover your new favorite dressing. Or toss with pasta and summer produce to create a picnic-ready pasta salad. The creamy hint of this sauce also makes a heartier broth for soups and stews with chicken or pumpkin.
With San-J Thai Peanut Sauce, it’s so easy to cook a yummy noodle dish or tempeh without fussing over as many seasonings. Serve by itself as a dip for spring rolls, or stir in and spice up your hummus for veggie snacking. So versatile and unique, you’ll never run out of ways to add delicious Asian flair.
San-J Teriyaki Sauce is one of the most versatile seasonings your kitchen could have. The balanced, mild profile of Tamari Soy Sauce with ginger, garlic and a touch of sweetness means there’s no more wondering how you can capture that distinct restaurant flavor in your home cooking.
It takes just half an hour to marinate meat or seafood to perfection and infuse an authentic taste for your stir fry or bake. You can also marinate your favorite vegetables in San-J Teriyaki Sauce before steaming or sauteing. Teriyaki-style chicken has been a longtime take-out favorite, but try with tofu and discover how savory all sorts of plant-based meals can be.
During grilling season, let your foods of choice infuse with teriyaki flavor before you skewer them for some delicious kabobs. Try mixing Teriyaki Sauce into a mouthwatering glaze to brush on your barbecuing creations, or combine it into a homemade dip for veggies or rice crackers.
