True Foods is proudly 100% Australian owned and operated family business that was established in 2001 as a specialist manufacturer of flat bread products. True Foods has grown to become the largest Australian owned manufacturer of Tortilla Wraps, Naan, Chapati and Roti bread. Supporting this is a supply chain that distributes significant volumes of shelf stable, ambient and frozen products nation-wide to all major customers including Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, Metcash, KFC, Subway, PFD and Bidfood. True Foods launched the Simson’s Pantry brand to diversify our reach through growing a presence in the retail market. The core Simson’s Pantry (Simson’s Pantry 4 packs & Simson’s Pantry Large 8 packs) products launched into Coles, Woolworths and leading independent supermarkets (IGA, Foodland, Foodworks). In 2019, the Simson’s Pantry sub brand – ‘Better for You’ was established with a specific ‘health & sustainable’ strategic focus to bring healthier, alternative products to customers whilst supporting sustainable manufacturing and wastage practices. Simson’s Pantry products are 100% made using solar electricity from our onsite solar farm. Simson’s Pantry is strengthening the bakery category through providing a range of premium, healthy, specialty products for all Australians to enjoy.

Simson’s Pantry Better for You brand is inspired to produce products that are healthier for the everyday individual whilst also having a positive, sustainable footprint on the world we live in. Simson’s Pantry recognised a gap in the bakery category for products that focused on nourishing the mind and body through a strong health nutritional profile. Simson’s Pantry Better for You is transforming the bakery category by creating diverse, healthy products that focus on dietaries (vegan, vegetarian, FODMAP Friendly), low carb, lower sodium and no added sugar to overall support ‘better for you’ alternatives to enrich healthier lifestyles for our customers. True Foods is the family business that launched Simson’s Pantry.

Simson’s Pantry has a unique, sustainable production approach by generating 100% of the electricity used to make our products each year through our onsite solar farm.
