Master the complexities of eosinophilic oesophagitis with the GI Institute’s new comprehensive educational course: Eosinophilic Oesophageal (EoE) Management. Led by a panel of international experts, this five-module course bridges the gap between foundational science, international guidelines and practical, patient-centred care. You will explore disease aetiology, epidemiology, and genetic risk factors, master endoscopic features and histological markers, and understand medical interventions. This course is foundational in improving long-term outcomes for patients living with EoE. Complete this self-paced course within 12 months to receive a Certificate of Completion.   

• Explain oesophageal anatomy/function and how genetics, epigenetics, and environment drive EoE and the atopic march.
• Analyse the rising global prevalence of EoE and its public health and long-term management implications.
• Recognise diverse EoE symptoms and how its natural history and adaptive eating behaviours evolve across the lifespan.
• Differentiate endoscopic and histological findings of EoE from other causes of oesophageal eosinophilia.
• Summarise pharmacologic, endoscopic, and dietary treatments, including long-term maintenance strategies.
• Apply multi-dimensional tools (symptoms, endoscopy, histology, non-invasive tests) to monitor disease activity.
• Evaluate step-up/step-down elimination diets and understand the limits of standard allergy testing.
• Individualise the Nutrition Care Process to manage adherence, comorbidities, and compliance barriers.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care to adjust therapy and support patient psychosocial well-being.
