The Knowledge & Research arm of GI Institute is committed to highlighting the latest global research in the field of gastrointestinal health and digestive diseases, including both published and current research projects.
GI Institute’s first course, FODMAP Institute, provides health professionals and students with the knowledge, tools and resources to better manage IBS and implement the low FODMAP diet to improve patient health outcomes.
In collaboration with likeminded organisations and food manufacturers, GI Institute will provide FODMAP Institute course participants with benefits for various products and services, including coupons and discounts.
GI Institute is a world first global education initiative developed by the University of Michigan and FODMAP Friendly, specialising in gastrointestinal health and digestive diseases. We endeavour to provide a global perspective, providing education and awareness of digestive health to health professionals and students worldwide. GI Institute is governed by five expert Advisory Panel members who identify gaps in knowledge and research surrounding gastrointestinal health and diseases, to provide appropriate education to enable better treatment and improved patient outcomes.
