Claire M. Allen MS RDN LDN is a Chicago-based dietitian that specializes in dietary management of digestive and metabolic diseases and disorders. For over half a decade, she has served as the Lead Registered Dietitian at a private gastroenterology clinic in the Northern Chicago suburbs, where she developed a robust gastroenterology nutrition program as part of a multi-disciplinary care team. Claire holds a master’s degree in science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Michigan with concentrations in psychology and economics. Claire is actively involved in several academic groups through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, including Dietitians in Gluten and Gastrointestinal Disorders (DIGID), a subunit of the Medical Nutrition Therapy dietetic practice group, as well as Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine.
