Biography
Dr Annabel Clancy is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian specialising in adverse food reactions with more than 12 years’ experience. Annabel completed her PhD in 2018 which focused on the improvement and personalisation of the nutrition care process (NCP) for patients with eosinophilic oesophagitis (EOE). Annabel has worked as a clinical and research dietitian in the public and private hospital setting and community setting. Annabel is currently a Lecturer for Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia. Annabel is also the convenor of the Dietitians Australia Adverse Food Reactions Interest Group. Annabel’s research interests and values are supporting people with adverse food reactions to receive optimal nutritional management, liberalise their diets and educating current and future dietitians to provide personalised care.
